Design, like all languages, develops and evolves with its changing environments. Now, more than ever, design must speak in revolutionary prose. It is not enough to build upon the past, for the present and the future rely heavily on the evolution of the creatives. I am pursuing engineering because it is a language adapted from design and embodied by the sciences. It is a speech that changes how we as humans interact with our world. That is why the modern engineer needs to be an artist, in so much as they must think boldly towards the future.
