As the CAD/Design Engineer on my Senior Project Team, I lead the design process for a sensor enclosure to protect a LiDAR for use on autonomous agriculture and construction vehicles. This enclosure was designed to meet strict ingress protection standards while dampening vibrational forces, maintaining functional temperatures in severe environments, and minimally diminishing the perception of the enclosed LiDAR sensor.
