The Splash concept was created with the intent of redesigning countertop water filtration systems for consumer use. Many current gravity fed options filter out minimal harmful contaminants (lead, arsenic, uranium, pharmaceuticals, bacteria, and viruses) and leave you waiting several minutes for a clean glass of water. Through the integration of a small pump, the Splash allows for a more robust filtration system while reducing valuable time.
The Splash was iteratively designed into two form factors to test the benefits of both with consumers. The features of each design remain the same with two removable pitchers (one dirty/one clean), fully concealed piping, a central housing that holds the filtration system, and an easy-fill lid on the dirty pitcher.
